INSTALLATION ISSUES

∇ an error occurred while processing this directive

When installing for the 1st time and error "an error occurred while processing this directive" appears. This is caused by incorrect folder and file permissions that were generated by the hosting server. Most likely happens when you install by uploading the Rodadewa CMS zip files directly and unzipping it through file manager. Solution : make sure all folders has the CHMOD of 755 and all files are 644. If you are in a reseller hosting account, please also make sure that the domain folder is also CHMOD 755.

∇ 500 Internal Server Error

There are many factors that caused this to happen. Rodadewa CMS works on PHP version 5.4. Some hosting servers does not update their PHP Modules according to their PHP version. Solution : Contact your hosting provider about this matter or move to a more "current" server.

∇ The form on install.php doesn't work

  • Go inside the folder /includes/ and open "kisi.php" using your notepad or other simple text editor.
  • Replace 'your_database_user_name', 'your_database_password' and 'your_database_name' with your database information.

∇ FTP Server name?

Usually "localhost" works everytime, but if not, usually "yourdomain.com" or "ftp.yourdomain.com". If all does not work, it means that your hosting server does not allow ftp connection from PHP script, the solution would be to manually CHMOD the files and folders needed.

∇ Auto CHMOD is not working

Some hosting servers allows this method, some does not, the only solution if this issue occurs, is to manually CHMOD your folders and files required.

Rodadewa CMS focuses on lightweight without needing too much graphics for faster website loading, specially for mobile device. The header image uses the background image of your site. The size best would be 1920 px in width for desktop and about 500px in width for mobile.

∇ I want my own text as image on the header

Simply disable the Header and Tagline on your theme editor. Set the distance from the menu to the content area by setting the "Margin Top" of "Outer Content" on both desktop and mobile.
