This time is based on the html layout I made for the basic round template on my previous post and integrating it with wordpress. This theme is distributed freely and free to be modified. If u want to modify this theme, please download the PSD source file which can be obtained on http://rodadewa.net/?p=410 . However I will be very grateful if you leave my name and the link to this website on the footer. I would not call this theme as finish as I am still learning my way through wordpress. So expect some bugs and let me know.

If you want to use this for your own theme and want to change the top menu links, you’ll need at least a notepad or similar program. So the things you need to know are:

On rodadewa_basic_round theme folder, open header.php with your notepad or dreamweaver or any html editor

As for the featured article, in which it actually points to a certain category or in this case category ID. 1st you need to go to your wp-admin and select “Categories”. What you need here is your desired category ID

Or an easier method is just to hover the catagory and see at the bottom of your browser

After you got the category ID you want, then you put that catagory ID on index.php at the top as you can see here on the screenshot

and now you can show only your “hottest” category to be displayed on the top.
