This was the opening of the original series, Battlestar Galactica in 1978. It was one of the greatest scifi show at that time. In those days, the story line already contains a few scientific spiritual ideas. Made all of us think and re-think about the “human origin”.

The opening narration, spoken by Patrick Macnee, reads as follows:

“There are those who believe that life here began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. That they may have been the architects of the great pyramids, or the lost civilizations of Lemuria or Atlantis. Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man who even now fight to survive somewhere beyond the heavens…”

Facinating theory..

The series then re-born again in 2003-present. At first I did not like it, but as I continue watching the series one by one, this one has more of the spiritual science and also the “real human” side, where no one is a superhero, no one is perfect, they are all simply humans under a lot of stress. At a glance, this new version has a lot of violance and sex, not suitable for the minor age, not exactly a family tv series. However those are what we do at least most of us do in real life which are presented in that series through a story called “Battlestar Galactica”. If you notice deeply on the story line, it’s not about the action, shooting, killing, flying with a cool spacescraft.. It’s about humanity and how they react under various of pressure. Sex, drugs, alcoholics, swearing, .. all in days life of the today’s life, well not all. The series also reveals about the “Divine Greater Power” that rules over all living things. Again the red line is the same with the old series, about a journey of surviving last humans from another world trying to seek refuge to their “legendary planet called Earth”.

This is the opening of the new Battlestar Galactica. I found it facinating as they use one of the “Hindu” mantra called “Gayatri Mantra” for their opening credits.

I can’t say much about the new series as I believe it speak for it self. I would recommend people who has interest in spiritual science as well as open minded theory to watch this series, I’m not promoting, just sharing what I think to be one of the most ‘reaslistic” scifi I’ve ever seen.

Yes the series is violent, sex driven, mentally disturbing, .. all of the negative aspect of humanity also with a balance of the positive side of humanity; sacrifice, honor, respect, and that famous.. ‘voice of the heart’ . Very very twisting.
